A Guide for Writers by Lee Lofland. This is a great reference book for writers who wish to understand police procedures. Some chapters were a drag, others left me wanting much more, but for the most part hosdunit was a helpful resource. Can’t recommend this book highly enough. There’s a problem loading this menu right now. My point is that this makes sense in retrospect, but it makes me wish there was more specific information available for the actual department I’m researching.
